By utilizing the weight of the loaded Low Hex Bar, it allows the feet to be securely locked in place, enabling athletes to independently perform exercises such as the Hamstring Curl and the Abdominal Curl.
The Low Hex Bar 9012/3 was designed to meet the needs of athletes and teams who often train without access to fully equipped gym facilities. Our goal was to transform it into an extremely effective training station, capable of strengthening both the anterior muscle chain—with strong upper body involvement due to the grip—and the posterior muscle chain, enhancing knee stability and reducing the risk of injuries.
The posterior chain—which includes the hamstrings (biceps femoris, semitendinosus, and semimembranosus), gluteus maximus, and paravertebral muscles—is often neglected by athletes, who tend to focus more on the anterior musculature, such as the quadriceps. This imbalance increases the knee’s vulnerability, compromising its stability and resistance to joint stress. For this reason, we placed great importance on integrating the Hamstring Curl Exercise into the Low Hex Bar, as it is a key movement for both injury prevention and overall athletic performance improvement.
