Despite the bad weather, the first Sidea Open Weekend has been a complete success, with a very large number of people that did not just attended the event, but also participated actively both Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September.

The thematic workshops program has received an excellent response from the participants, who had the opportunity to take advantage of the competence and the advices of specialized trainers, but also to attend practical demonstrations about the correct use of the equipment and to try the different types of training themselves.

In the different areas in which the event was divided, both internal and external, it was possible to participate to workshops about Calisthenics or Hammock Training, but also practical and theorical sessions on the use of Kettlebells, Barbells, Clubbells, Flow Bags, Duneballs and Foam Rollers.

Particularly appreciated, despite the rain, has been the outdoor working area, where a 150m2 tensile structure allowed to work on the tatami floor for Primitive Training classes or for the Handstand workshops held by the specialists of Motus team.

Overall it has been a very successful experiment, perfectly suiting Sidea’s tradition of organizing and promoting training events for professional trainers.

Sidea Open Weekend has been an opportunity to get in touch with many people with the same passion for movement and training, but it also allowed to raise the consciousness about the equipment and its use. This is essential in Sidea’s training concept, in which it is the culture of movement to give value to the tool, and that is the reason why a special thanks goes to all the trainers that provided their professionality and competence during the event, making it absolutely unique for its variety and for the quality of the topics covered.
