PUBLIC ISLAND BENCH-DIPS – Bench and Dips Bar for outdoor training in public areas
The Public Island Bench-Dips code 9085/2 is a Public Island Rack accessory, designed to provide outdoor training solutions suitable for public areas, such as parks or beaches and that includes two modules: on one side the Bench and on the other two bars for Dips (diameter 48 mm). Just like all the products within the Public Island range, the Bench-Dips code 9085/2 is designed in accordance to the EN 16630 standards, aimed at ensuring the safety of those carrying out physical activity outdoors while using freely accessible equipment.
The bench has a wooden surface and an inclination of 10°, making it suitable for abdominal training with exercises such as Crunch and Leg Raise, but also in combination with dumbbells or other equipment for exercises such as Chest Press or Row.
The Dips bars are instead two tubulars with a diameter of 48 mm, spaced 56 cm from each other, which, thanks to their “S” shape, have a triple functionality. The upper part, parallel to the ground and placed at 1.03 m in height, can be used both for classic bodyweight dips exercises and for exercises for the abdomen and core, such as L-Sit and Leg Raise. In this case, you can also place your back on the special vertical support and holding the tubulars with your hands in order to have more stability while raising the legs. The lower part of the tubulars is instead inclined, making it useful for exercises such as Push-ups (more or less facilitated depending on the position of the grip) or Triceps dips.
Fixing of the structure
All the products of this line can be purchased with different fixing kits:

The Concrete Plateau Kit includes classic expansion anchoring dowels for concrete, and must be chosen in the event that the structure (or its sub-components) are fixed on a whole reinforced concrete base, with a minimum thickness of 15 cm.
The Concrete Plinth Kit includes some components necessary for joining the Dip bars, and the classic expansion anchors for concrete and must be chosen in the event that the structure (or its sub-components) are anchored to 40x40x40 cm underground plinths and full under each anchor point of the structure. The fixing templates with the dimensions for the preparation of the plinths can be requested when ordering.
