The Cork Roller is particularly effective for self-massaging and stretching exercises, useful for muscle relaxation and muscle tension release. The pressure of the weight of the body on the roller determines the compression of the so-called trigger points, which are painful and irritable muscle knots that provoke muscle hypertension. Based on the theories of mechanical treatment through massage, the compression of these knots could neutralize one of the primary sources of pain and causes of muscle hypertension.
