HARD MASSAGE BALL
Small Massage Ball made with hard rubber. The ball, with a diameter of 6 cm, has been specially designed for self-massage exercises and muscle relaxation.
For the Cork Ball, the same principles apply as for the Massage Roller 2500. It is advisable to combine these two tools for a more comprehensive workout. The pressure of the body weight on the ball, or the roller, determines the compression of the so-called trigger points, irritable and painful muscle knots, from which muscle hypertension can derive. According to the theories of mechanical treatment through massage, the compression of these knots can trigger one of the primary sources of pain and root of muscle hypertension. Hard Massage Ball and Massage Roller find application in activities aimed at improving muscle function, joint mobility, and activities to improve the functional efficiency and well-being of the body. These are the main reason why the use of these tools in athletic preparation is increasing.
Compared to the massage roller, the work performed with the HARD MASSAGE BALL is much more precise, deep, and intense. The size of the ball allows us to reach with precision the points to be treated, even the most difficult, and its hardness allows an intense action. Although it is made of rubber and has the necessary adaptability, the ball deforms very little and, like the masseur’s fingers, can cause a deep stimulation. Stimulation that becomes effective, and at times painful, if the ball is pressed with much weight on it. For this reason, in addition to the floor, it may be appropriate to use on walls or other surfaces for better control of the pressure exerted and better manage the de-stressing movements.
