0403/1 Monoblock EVA Mat 100 cm Grey
The Monoblock EVA Mat 100 x 60 cm, suitable for yoga and pilates studios but also ideal for home workouts and available in the two colors black (code 0403) and grey (code 0403/1), is extremely practical, lightweight and easy to store, and it represents an optimal value-for-money solution. EVA foam is an high quality material for mats, as it is soft but still non-deformable, pleasant to the touch and with a regular flexibility.
Monoblock EVA Mats are available in two lengths: 100 cm (Cod. 0403 Black, Cod. 0403/1 Grey) and 160 cm (Cod. 0401 Grey). The 100 cm long models are particularly handy, and remarkably durable, as they don’t get stepped on with the feet, being shorter. The model Cod. 0401, length 160 cm, guarantees maximum comfort and is useful in contexts where a longer and more covering mat is necessary.

Shoe soles are the enemy of mats, especially when performing exercises that require high grip and thus high friction and abrasion. Recommended models for this kind of situation, which will always result in a high degree of wear, are mats cod. 3024, cod.3025, cod. 0400, cod. 0400/1, cod. 0401. Not recommended are cod. 3016, specifically for use without shoes, cod. 0407. Mats cod. 0403 cod. 0403/1 are short models, created so that the shoes remain outside. So you should try to avoid, as much as possible, contact between mat and shoes to limit wear and tear. All mats are produced through polymers in the rubbery state. Elasticity and softness characterize the different models in various ways, hence the comfort to pleasantness to the touch. The soles of sports shoes are also made through rubbery materials but, due to their function; sports on concrete, asphalt, wood, etc., adopt much harder and abrasive materials. Materials, solutions and thicknesses, unsuitable for making mats. Therefore, shoe soles are inevitably the enemy of mats, especially when performing exercises that result in high grip and thus high rubbing. Mountain climbing-type exercises, for example, will immediately ruin any mat if one does not take care to keep the feet off the tool. It is not a matter of quality, and it is not even a matter of time, but mainly a matter of materials and the way you use them. Any model of mat will exhibit breakage and premature wear and tear if used with footwear and improperly.
