0231/3K T-Bell Deficit Sumo Squat Kit
Useful kit specially designed for the training legs, especially the glutes, through the execution of exercises in squatting with overload in deficit, in relation to the support of the feet.
The kit takes its name from the famous squat variation known as the Sumo, due to the split-legged posture reminiscent of sumotors. The Sumo squat is characterized by a very wide leg opening, well beyond the width of the shoulders, with the toes naturally over-extended. This results in less hip flexion and extension, typical of the standard squat, in favor of more abduction and adduction work. Consequently, on a muscular level, we have greater activation of the adductor muscles and of the gluteus. Gluteus whose activation and elongation will be greater the greater the depth of the squat. In order to obtain a full, maximally deep squat, using a weight in order to further stimulate the muscles, the technically simplest solution is to hold a weight in a natural way, with the load weighing downwards. The T-Bell 9011 represents, from this point of view, the simplest and safest solution, to be combined with the Mini Steps 0231/2 in order to be able to descend with the load itself below the foot support line.
The T-Bell Deficit Sumo Squat Kit 0231/3K represents for these reasons a practical solution for the training of the legs, in particular of the gluteus, through the execution of exercises in maximum squat (full squat), with weight, and in deficit with respect to the support plane of the feet; Deficit Sumo Squat and Straddle Lifts.
It is possible to add other pairs of steps 0231/1 to the kit to further raise the steps.
