0040-0042 28 mm Super Pump PU Plates
A series of plates finished in polyurethane for commercial gyms with high usage frequency. Polyurethane indeed offers enhanced resistance to wear and tear and engraving, compared to rubber, vinyl, and neoprene. The central steel ring, in addition to facilitating the loading of discs onto the barbell, represents an additional reinforcement of the area most susceptible to wear and damage, often resulting from the hasty and inaccurate insertion of the plates into racks by user groups.
For storing the 0040-0042 28 mm Super Pump Plates in PU we recommend the Pump Rack Large Kit (cod. 1134/1) as its main feature is the greater distance between the record racks, allowing the 28 mm Super Pump Plates in PU (cod. 0040-0042) to be inserted without them touching.

The polyurethane pump training plates, cod. 0040-0042, are the best quality choice for commercial gyms that experience high usage frequency. Polyurethane, a material of high quality and production precision, indeed offers greater resistance to shocks and engravings compared to rubber, vinyl, and neoprene.
The plates, compatible with barbells with a 28 mm disc diameter, such as barbells cod. 1660 or cod. 1660/1, are designed to set up sets dedicated to Super Pump, more commonly referred to as pump training.
THE PUMP TRAINING
Pump training is a form of fitness training focused on increasing muscle endurance and toning the body through the use of “light” weights and a high number of repetitions. This type of training, of which Super Pump is a method, aims to engage all the major muscle groups in a session, combining weightlifting exercises with aerobic-inspired movements for a comprehensive workout that improves both strength and cardiovascular endurance. During a typical pump training class, participants choose weights based on their abilities and the type of exercise, performing sets to the rhythm of motivating music. The instructor leads the class by demonstrating the exercises, performed in quick succession at high intensity. The goal is to promote general health and well-being through a fun, high-impact metabolic strength-resistance workout.
Being equipped with grips, the 0040-0042 plates can also be used without a barbell, thus increasing the range of possible exercises.
