0003 Sidea Big-Shield Umbrella

The neoprene handle, automatic opening system, and extra-large 140 cm octagonal design make the Sidea umbrella a practical and effective shield against harsh weather conditions.

The umbrella canopy features a double-layer construction with eight wind-release vents, an ideal solution for large umbrellas. This configuration, also known as a “double canopy”, allows wind to pass through the umbrella, reducing pressure on the structure. As a result, the umbrella is more stable and less likely to turn inside out or break in strong gusts of wind.

To ensure lightness and easy handling, the shaft is made of fiberglass and has a tensile strength of approximately 35 kg. Therefore, the umbrella must not be used as a walking stick or support and may be damaged if subjected to excessive loads, such as the weight of a person accidentally sitting on it, for example on a car seat.

In strong winds, it is recommended to hold the shaft as close as possible to the canopy to reduce leverage and improve stability.
